Parents & Athletes FAQ

How many girls are on each team?

Our goal is to have 8 girls per roster, but no more than 9. The reason behind this is because we value every player's development and in order to maximize opportunities to grow we do not put 10 on a roster.

How do you determine the travel schedule?

Our travel schedule can change each season because it is determined by the NCAA recruiting calendar.  Our goal is to travel during the viewing periods only to maximize exposure for our players. As we create our travel schedule, we aim to get to different regions in the country to expose our player to better competition and different types of basketball.

How many teams are there?

The number of teams can change each session. Typically we would love to have a team per age group (17/16/15), but we want to make the most competitive rosters possible, and at times, there may be two teams for an age group.  We will only be fielding travel rosters.

In the fall and winter, we also continue our middle school age teams.

What is covered in your costs?

Our costs will include everything except for how the player gets to the out of state tournaments. We let the families choose how they want to transport their child since there are tournaments that are in driving range. The fees will include gear, gym time, tournaments, hotels, media, recruiting, individual workouts and a gym membership at Sport Axis for players to use the facility during open gym hours.

What is the practice schedule?

Our practice schedule is 3X/week on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (times are tbd).  Our Wednesday nights focus on player development areas (skills and strength & conditioning).

How long do the seasons last?

Our spring/summer season is from March-July.  We do let the players focus on their HS teams during the month of June for practices, camps, etc., however we still have our same gym times for the girls to attend when they are available. The month of June is to primarily focus on skill development before a busy July.

Fall and winter seasons are for our younger athletes who are not in HS yet. During these times group workouts are available for the HS athletes as the prepare for and partipciate in their HS seasons.
